Kelly Veneti-Kalika is the Executive Director of the Greek Psychedelic Society. Based in London, she works as a Research Analyst at BeZero Carbon, where she evaluates carbon reduction and offset projects, combining her scientific training with a deep interest in sustainability. She is also studying at the University of Exeter in the PGCert Psychedelics: Mind, Medicine, Culture program, delving into the intersections of psychedelic science, mental health, medicine, and culture. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics, where she studied Environment and Development (BSc), and holds a master's degree (MSc) in Geophysical Hazards from University College London.

A personal, therapeutic experience with psychedelic substances was a turning point in her life, sparking her interest in the role of psychedelics in the treatment of chronic and mental illnesses. Since then, her work has focused on advocating for mental health and reconnection with the natural environment, with the aim of bridging the gap between mental health policy, neuroscience, and Greek cultural heritage. As National Coordinator of Psychedelicare, Kelly works to develop European policies that promote the safe and ethical use of psychedelics for therapeutic and research purposes, representing the movement at an institutional level. She is also a representative of PSYCA (Psychedelics for Climate Action) in London, promoting initiatives that link consciousness expansion with climate action.

Kelly draws inspiration from the Eleusinian Mysteries, considering them a model for the present day: "Centers such as Eleusis could unite and strengthen the many spiritual currents of our time, all of which have the same goal: to create, by transforming the consciousness of individuals, the conditions for a better world, a world without wars and environmental destruction, a world of happy people (Hoffman, 1997)." Through her work, she seeks to harness the transformative potential of psychedelics to enhance collective changes in consciousness, contributing to a more sustainable, peaceful, and meaningful world.
